Charger emits a loud humming or buzzing noise during operation.

Safety first: Turn off power before tightening any internal or external hardware.

• Identify noise source: With the cover on and charger operating, carefully listen to locate the general area of the hum (contactor, enclosure, wall).
• Tighten mounting screws (power OFF): Ensure the JuiceBox is firmly mounted to the wall or pedestal. Tighten all external mounting screws.
• Secure internal components: With power OFF, check that the main power contactor and any transformers/inductors are firmly screwed down. Tighten as needed.
• Contactor replacement: If the hum clearly comes from the contactor and is excessive, replace the main power contactor with an equivalent rated part.
• Monitor for overheating: If noise is accompanied by heat or burning smell, stop using the charger and have it inspected professionally.
