Charger indicates E08 ground continuity or earth fault; unit refuses to charge.

Safety first: A missing or faulty ground is a serious shock hazard. Do not bypass ground protection. Turn off power at the breaker before inspection.

• Verify ground connection at the unit: With power OFF, open the JuiceBox and confirm the green or bare copper ground wire is securely attached to the ground terminal or bar. Tighten if loose.
• Inspect supply cable: Check that the supply cable entering the unit includes a dedicated ground conductor and that it is not cut or pinched at the strain relief.
• Panel ground check (qualified person): At the service panel, verify that the branch circuit ground is properly landed on the ground bar and that the bar is bonded per code.
• Continuity test (advanced): With power OFF, measure continuity between the JuiceBox ground terminal and a known-good building ground. High resistance or open circuit indicates a wiring issue that must be corrected before use.
• Persistent E08 with verified ground: If wiring is correct and ground is solid, the ground sensing circuit on the main control board may be faulty and require replacement.
