Possible Causes
Failed Wi-Fi module on communication board, Loose Wi-Fi daughterboard connection, Corrupted network configuration, Insufficient Wi-Fi signal strength at charger location
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network troubleshooting can be done with power on, but opening the unit requires power off at the breaker.
- Restart networking: Reboot your router and power-cycle the JuiceBox. Wait several minutes to see if it reconnects.
- Check Wi-Fi signal: Use a phone at the charger location to verify strong Wi-Fi signal. If weak, move the router or add a Wi-Fi extender.
- Forget and re-add device in app: In the JuiceBox app, remove the charger and go through the setup process again to refresh network credentials.
- Inspect Wi-Fi module (power OFF): Open the unit and locate the Wi-Fi or communication daughterboard. Ensure it is firmly seated in its socket and that any antenna leads are connected.
- Module replacement: If E13 persists and local charging works, the Wi-Fi / communication module may be defective and require replacement.
