Possible Causes
Stuck or damaged front panel button, Moisture ingress into front keypad, Loose keypad ribbon cable, Failed input circuitry on main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before removing the front cover or panel.
- Check for physical sticking: Press the front button several times. If it feels sticky or does not return, debris or damage may be present. Clean around the button with a dry cloth; do not use solvents.
- Use app control: If the physical button is unreliable, control charging via the JuiceBox app as a temporary workaround.
- Inspect keypad connection (power OFF): Open the unit and locate the ribbon cable or connector from the front panel to the main board. Ensure it is fully seated.
- Panel replacement: If the button is physically damaged or water has entered, replace the front panel / keypad assembly.
- Board input failure: If a known-good panel still triggers E19, the main control board input circuit may be defective.
