Possible Causes
Tripped upstream breaker or RCD, Blown internal fuse on main board, Failed internal power supply, Loose supply wiring at terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Treat all wiring as live until proven otherwise. Only qualified persons should remove covers and test voltages.
Steps:
- 1. Check upstream devices: Verify that the dedicated breaker and RCD for the KEBA charger are in the ON position and have not tripped.
- 2. Measure input voltage: At the charger's input terminals, measure voltage to confirm supply presence (qualified electrician only).
- 3. Inspect internal fuse: With power off, open the housing and locate any internal fuses on the main control board or power supply module. Test and replace with identical type and rating if blown.
- 4. Check terminal tightness: Tighten all supply terminals and inspect for signs of overheating.
- 5. Replace PSU/main board: If supply is present and fuses are intact but the unit remains dead, replace the low-voltage power supply module or the entire main control board.
Do not upsize fuses or bypass protective devices as a workaround.
