KEBA charger’s enclosure vibrates or rattles when contactor closes or during charging

Safety first: Isolate power before tightening internal screws or adjusting cable entries.

Steps:

• 1. Check wall mounting: Ensure all mounting screws are tight and appropriate wall anchors are used.
• 2. Inspect cable strain relief: Verify that cables are properly clamped and not pulling on the housing.
• 3. Internal check: Open the housing and tighten mounting screws for the main contactor, terminal blocks, and PCBs.
• 4. Add damping if allowed: If permitted by KEBA, use approved anti-vibration washers on noisy components.

Excessive vibration can lead to premature failure of electrical connections; correct promptly.
