Possible Causes
Aged LED strip, Partial short in LED segments, Degraded LED driver output, Water ingress affecting LEDs
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the LED assemblies.
Steps:
- 1. Visual check: Identify which segments are dim or off.
- 2. Inspect for moisture: Look for condensation or corrosion around the LED light ring.
- 3. Reseat connectors: Open the housing and reseat the LED connectors on the main board and LED assembly.
- 4. Replace LED assembly: If segments remain dim or off, replace the LED light ring / front panel assembly.
- 5. Check driver: If a new LED assembly is also dim, the LED driver on the main control board may be faulty and require board replacement.
Ensure seals are intact after reassembly to prevent future moisture damage.
