KEBA
Scheduling / Timer Configuration Problem
Scheduled charging does not start at the programmed time, but manual charging works
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Incorrect time or time zone, Overlapping or disabled schedules, RTC battery failure causing time reset, Firmware bug in scheduling logic
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No special electrical risk, but configuration changes should be done carefully.
Steps:
- 1. Check current time: In the KEBA interface, verify that the date, time, and time zone are correct.
- 2. Review schedules: Ensure that schedules are enabled, not overlapping in conflicting ways, and assigned to the correct days of the week.
- 3. Test simple schedule: Create a simple test schedule a few minutes in the future and observe whether charging starts.
- 4. Firmware update: If scheduling remains unreliable, update to the latest KEBA firmware.
- 5. RTC battery: If time is lost after power outages, replace the RTC backup battery on the main board (if serviceable).
As a workaround, users can start charging manually until scheduling is restored.
