Lectron charger shows E07 and will not start charging; often associated with reversed line/neutral or missing ground.

Safety first: Incorrect grounding is dangerous. Turn OFF the breaker and do not use the charger until wiring is corrected.

• 1. Verify ground connection: With power OFF, remove the Lectron front cover. Confirm that the green or bare copper ground wire is securely attached to the ground terminal and that the terminal is tight.
• 2. Check polarity (if applicable): For installations using line/neutral, verify that line and neutral are connected to the correct terminals per Lectron wiring diagram. Reversed connections can trigger E07.
• 3. Inspect for corrosion: Look for rust or corrosion on the ground lug or bonding points, especially in outdoor installations. Clean and re-terminate if necessary.
• 4. Test with a receptacle tester (for plug-in models): If you have a plug-in Lectron charger, use a UL-listed outlet tester to confirm correct wiring and ground at the receptacle.
