Possible Causes

Failed pre-charge resistor on Lucid power board, Faulty contactor auxiliary contacts, Firmware mismatch between control board and power module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF power before opening the unit.

Steps:

  • Power-cycle and update: Turn breaker OFF for 5 minutes, then ON. If the Lucid charger supports firmware updates via app, check for and apply any pending updates.
  • Listen for test clicks: During startup, the charger may briefly actuate the contactor. Absence of this may indicate a contactor or control issue.
  • Inspect wiring: With cover removed and power OFF, verify the auxiliary contact feedback wires are firmly connected to the Lucid control board.

Resolution: If E10 remains, the pre-charge circuit or contactor feedback is likely defective. Replace the Lucid power module or contactor assembly per service instructions.
