Possible Causes

Loose output terminal connections inside Lucid charger, Overheating at vehicle inlet or Lucid connector, Marginal internal temperature sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF power before opening the charger. Overheating connections can be a fire risk.

Steps:

  • Check connector temperature: After a stop, carefully touch (briefly) the Lucid handle and vehicle inlet. If very hot, stop using until inspected.
  • Inspect internal terminals: With cover removed and power OFF, tighten all output lugs and contactor terminals to Lucid-specified torque.
  • Ventilation: Ensure vents are not blocked and ambient temperature is within Lucid’s operating range.

Resolution: If intermittent stops continue, log times and conditions, then have a technician check internal temperature sensors and possibly replace the Lucid power module.
