How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset a breaker that trips instantly. Turn it OFF and leave it OFF until the fault is found.
Steps:
- Inspect cable: Look for obvious damage to the Lucid output cable and handle.
- Check circuit: Confirm the Lucid charger is on a dedicated breaker of the correct rating and not sharing with other loads.
- Internal inspection (technician): With power OFF, inspect the Lucid power module for burn marks or obvious shorts. Use a meter to check resistance between L1–L2 and to ground.
Resolution: Replace any damaged cable. If the power module is shorted, replace the Lucid power board or full module. Do not upsize the breaker to mask the problem.
