Possible Causes

Shorted Lucid power module, Incorrect breaker size or shared circuit, Damaged output cable causing line-to-line or line-to-ground short

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset a breaker that trips instantly. Turn it OFF and leave it OFF until the fault is found.

Steps:

  • Inspect cable: Look for obvious damage to the Lucid output cable and handle.
  • Check circuit: Confirm the Lucid charger is on a dedicated breaker of the correct rating and not sharing with other loads.
  • Internal inspection (technician): With power OFF, inspect the Lucid power module for burn marks or obvious shorts. Use a meter to check resistance between L1–L2 and to ground.

Resolution: Replace any damaged cable. If the power module is shorted, replace the Lucid power board or full module. Do not upsize the breaker to mask the problem.
