Possible Causes
Tripped upstream breaker or RCD, Loose supply cable at distribution board, Failed internal power supply on Mercedes-Benz wallbox, Blown internal fuse
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Work on mains circuits only if you are qualified. Always isolate power before opening the wallbox.
- Check household panel: Verify that the dedicated breaker and any RCD/RCBO feeding the wallbox are switched ON and have not tripped.
- Test another load: If possible, have an electrician temporarily connect a test load to the circuit to confirm power is present.
- Inspect internal connections: With power off, open the wallbox and check that the supply conductors are firmly connected to the input terminal block.
- Internal fuse: Look for any internal fuses on the control board or power module. Replace only with identical rated fuses and investigate why it blew.
- Board replacement: If supply is present but the unit remains dead, the internal power supply or control board is likely defective and must be replaced by an authorized technician.
