Possible Causes
Faulty PWM generation on Mini charger PCB, Incorrect resistor network for current coding, Firmware bug in CP control, Short or open in CP line affecting duty cycle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This is an internal control fault; user checks are limited.
- Power cycle: Turn off the charger at the breaker for 1–2 minutes, then restore power and retry.
- Inspect CP wiring (technician): With power OFF, check the CP conductor from the PCB to the output connector for damage or loose terminals.
- Firmware update: Ensure the charger firmware is up to date to correct any known CP control issues.
- Board-level repair: If E17 persists, the CP driver circuit or associated components on the main PCB are likely defective and the board should be replaced.
Do not attempt to modify CP circuitry; it is safety-critical.
