Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between UI board and main PCB, Failed LEDs or backlight on front panel, Moisture ingress behind front cover, Faulty 5 V/3.3 V supply to UI board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: Charging may still function even if the display is faulty.

  • Power cycle: Turn off the charger for 1 minute and restore power to see if the UI resets.
  • Check app status: Use the Mini app to confirm charger status if the display is unreadable.
  • Internal inspection (technician): With power OFF, remove the front cover and inspect the UI/LED board. Reseat any ribbon cables or connectors to the main PCB.
  • Dry moisture: If condensation is present, dry the area and improve sealing or ventilation as needed.
  • Replace UI board: If LEDs or display segments remain dead, replace the front panel UI board.

Ensure the gasket and seals are correctly reinstalled to prevent future moisture ingress.
