How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Danger: Moisture inside electrical equipment can cause arcing and corrosion.
- Turn off power: Switch off the charger breaker before touching the unit.
- Dry the unit (technician): Remove the front cover and gently dry internal surfaces with a lint-free cloth. Allow the unit to air dry completely.
- Inspect seals: Check the perimeter gasket, cable glands, and any knockouts for damage or gaps. Replace damaged gaskets and properly tighten glands.
- Improve installation environment: If installed in a location prone to condensation, consider adding a small shelter or relocating the charger.
After drying and resealing, restore power and monitor for recurring moisture. Persistent ingress may require enclosure replacement.
