Possible Causes
Damaged main control PCB, Failed relay driver, Surge damage to low-voltage power supply, Corrupted internal diagnostics
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If you suspect lightning or surge damage, have the entire installation inspected.
- 1. Full power reset: Turn off the Zappi at the breaker and any local isolator. Wait at least 5 minutes to allow internal capacitors to discharge, then power back on.
- 2. Check display and LEDs: If the screen is dim, flickering, or dead while E006 is shown, this strongly indicates main PCB damage.
- 3. Inspect for visible damage: With power isolated, remove the cover and look for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or scorch marks on the main PCB.
- 4. Verify surge protection: Confirm that upstream surge protection devices (SPDs) are installed and intact. Replace if they have operated.
- 5. Do not attempt board-level repair: The main PCB is a safety-critical component. If E006 persists after reset, arrange for replacement via myenergi or an authorized service partner.
