Possible Causes
Interrupted firmware update, Corrupted non-volatile memory, Incompatible settings after upgrade, Faulty memory chip on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not repeatedly power-cycle rapidly; allow the unit to boot fully.
- 1. Soft reset: Use the front panel to perform a system reset if available in the menu (Settings > Advanced > Reset). This may clear corrupted parameters.
- 2. Power-cycle: Turn off the supply for 2–3 minutes, then power back on and wait for full boot.
- 3. Reapply firmware: Using the myenergi hub/app, check for firmware updates and reapply the latest stable firmware version to the Zappi.
- 4. Reconfigure from scratch: Manually re-enter key settings (grid CT config, charge modes, max current, time schedules) rather than restoring from a backup if corruption is suspected.
- 5. Factory reset: If supported, perform a factory reset from the advanced menu, then reconfigure. Note this will erase custom settings.
- 6. Persistent E010: Indicates a failing non-volatile memory or main PCB. Board replacement is required.
