User Lockout / Access Control Fault
Zappi shows E016, charging inhibited, often linked to lockout or security features

Possible Causes
Incorrect PIN entry multiple times, RFID access control misconfiguration, Firmware bug in lockout logic, Corrupted user settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This is typically not an electrical safety fault but a configuration/security issue.
- 1. Check for PIN or lock icon: Look at the display for any indication that the unit is locked. Refer to the user manual for the unlock procedure.
- 2. Use correct PIN: Enter the configured PIN code carefully. After multiple failed attempts, wait the required lockout period before trying again.
- 3. RFID/card access: If using RFID, ensure the card is correctly paired in the Zappi menu and that the reader area is clean.
- 4. Reset access settings: From the advanced menu, reset access control to default (if you still have admin access) and reconfigure.
- 5. Firmware update: Update to the latest firmware via the myenergi hub/app to resolve any known lockout bugs.
- 6. Factory reset if necessary: As a last resort, perform a factory reset and set up users again. If E016 persists, the main PCB’s non-volatile memory may be faulty.
