Possible Causes
Incorrect CT assignment for solar/battery, Misconfigured export limit, Firmware bug in export control, Faulty CT or CT input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Export limitation affects compliance with grid regulations; ensure configuration is correct.
- 1. Review CT configuration: In the Zappi menu, confirm that CTs are correctly assigned to Grid, Generation, and Battery as per your installation.
- 2. Check export limit settings: Verify that any export limit values are set according to your DNO approval and not to unrealistic values.
- 3. Inspect CT wiring: Ensure CT cables are intact and firmly connected to the correct CT inputs.
- 4. Test in FAST mode: Temporarily disable ECO/ECO+ and export limiting, and test charging in FAST mode. If E020 disappears, the issue is in the export control configuration.
- 5. Firmware update: Update to the latest firmware to resolve any known export control bugs.
- 6. Replace CT or PCB if needed: If a known-good CT still causes E020, the CT input circuitry on the main PCB may be faulty.
