How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Moisture inside electrical equipment is dangerous. Isolate power immediately.

1. Isolate and open: Turn off power and carefully remove the front cover. Allow the interior to dry completely in a warm, dry environment.
2. Inspect seals: Check the door gasket, cable glands, and any knockouts for gaps or damage. Replace any compromised seals.
3. Check mounting: Ensure the Zappi is mounted vertically and not in a position where water can pool on top or run into the unit.
4. Improve protection: If installed in an exposed location, consider adding a weather shield or canopy.
5. Inspect for corrosion: Look for corrosion on terminals and PCB. Clean minor corrosion carefully; replace heavily affected components.
6. Do not re-energize while damp: Only restore power once you are confident all moisture has been removed and seals are intact.
