Possible Causes

Worn or damaged membrane keypad, Moisture ingress under front panel, Loose keypad connector to PCB, Physical damage to front fascia

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate power before removing the front panel.

  • 1. Clean front panel: Wipe the keypad area with a slightly damp cloth to remove dirt or sticky residue, then dry thoroughly.
  • 2. Inspect keypad cable: With power off, remove the front cover and check the keypad connector to the PCB. Reseat if loose.
  • 3. Check for moisture: Look for signs of water ingress around the keypad. Dry completely and improve sealing if necessary.
  • 4. Test each button: With power restored, test each button individually. If some remain dead, the keypad membrane is likely faulty.
  • 5. Replace front fascia/keypad: Install a new front panel or keypad assembly as specified by myenergi.
