Charge Authorization / Scheduling Block
Vehicle will not start charging when plugged into Nissan home charger, but charger LEDs appear normal and no error code is shown.

Possible Causes
Delayed or scheduled charging enabled in Nissan EVSE app, Vehicle's own charging timer active, RFID access control enabled without valid card, Smart grid or demand response limit active
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This is a control issue, not usually an electrical hazard.
- Check EVSE indicators: Look for icons or LED colors indicating 'scheduled' or 'standby' mode on the Nissan charger.
- Disable schedules: Open the Nissan charger app and temporarily disable all schedules, timers, and smart charging features.
- Check vehicle timers: In the vehicle's charging settings, turn off any departure time or off-peak charging schedules and retry.
- RFID access: If the charger requires a card, present a known authorized RFID card to start the session.
If the car still will not charge and no errors appear, test with another EV or EVSE to isolate whether the issue is with the charger or the vehicle.
