Possible Causes
Failed Hall-effect current sensor, Loose connection between sensor and control PCB, Calibration data corruption in firmware, Damaged shunt resistor (if used)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not continue using a charger that cannot correctly measure current; this can defeat safety limits.
- 1. Reboot and update firmware:
- Disconnect from mains and vehicle, wait 2–3 minutes, then reconnect.
- Use the NRGkick app to check for firmware updates and apply them.
- 2. Observe behavior:
- If E11 appears immediately on power-up, the sensor or its wiring is likely defective.
- If it appears only under load, overheating or intermittent connection may be involved.
- 3. Do not bypass limits:
- Avoid any attempt to override current limits or use external timers to force operation.
- 4. Service action:
- Current sensors are mounted on the power board and require disassembly to replace.
- Contact NRGkick support for board-level repair or replacement.
