Possible Causes
Interrupted firmware update, Corrupted flash memory on main PCB, Incompatible firmware version, Power loss during update process
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Do not repeatedly power-cycle during an update unless instructed, as this can worsen corruption.
- 1. Check app notifications: See if the Ohme app indicates an ongoing or failed firmware update. Follow any on-screen instructions.
- 2. Stable power: Ensure the charger supply is stable (no frequent tripping). Avoid switching off mid-update.
- 3. Attempt remote recovery: In some cases, Ohme support can push a recovery firmware image remotely if the network module is still functional.
- 4. Hard power reset: Turn off the charger at the isolator for 5 minutes, then turn back on and wait to see if it completes a self-recovery.
- 5. If E15 persists: The main control board flash memory may be corrupted beyond remote repair. A technician will need to replace or reprogram the main PCB.
