Possible Causes
Faulty internal energy metering IC, Loose CT sensor connection, Corrupted calibration data, Damaged metering harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Charging may still work, but energy reporting and load management can be inaccurate.
- 1. Power-cycle: Turn off the charger at the isolator for 1 minute, then back on. Check if E17 clears.
- 2. Compare readings: If the charger still reports energy, compare its kWh readings with your main meter over a short period to see if they are obviously wrong.
- 3. Check app configuration: Ensure any external CT clamps or load management settings in the app are configured correctly.
- 4. Technician inspection: A technician can open the unit, verify CT connections, and test the metering IC. If faulty, the metering board or main PCB may need replacement.
