Ohme
Scheduling / Time Synchronisation Issue
Ohme charger does not follow scheduled charging times correctly; starts too early, too late, or not at all.

Possible Causes
Incorrect time zone or DST setting, Loss of internet time sync, RTC drift on main PCB, Conflicting schedules in vehicle and Ohme app
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Mis-timed charging can affect tariff optimisation but is not usually a safety issue.
- 1. Verify time and time zone: In the Ohme app, confirm that the charger shows the correct local time and time zone.
- 2. Check for duplicate schedules: Disable any charge timers in the vehicle while testing Ohme schedules, to avoid conflicts.
- 3. Simplify schedules: Start with a single, simple schedule (e.g. start at 00:30, stop at 04:30) and test behaviour.
- 4. Ensure internet connectivity: The charger may rely on cloud time sync; ensure it is online and communicating.
- 5. Persistent drift: If the charger consistently runs at the wrong time even when online, the RTC hardware may be faulty and require main PCB replacement.
