Possible Causes

Tripped MCB/RCBO in consumer unit, Switched-off local isolator, Blown internal fuse on Ohme charger, Loose live or neutral connection at supply terminals

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Work on the consumer unit should only be done by competent persons. Never touch exposed live parts.

  • 1. Check consumer unit: Locate the dedicated breaker/RCBO for the Ohme charger. If it is in the 'off' or tripped position, reset it once. If it trips again immediately, do not keep resetting—call an electrician.
  • 2. Check local isolator: Many installations include a rotary isolator near the charger. Ensure it is in the 'on' position.
  • 3. Inspect for damage: Look at the charger casing and supply cable for signs of impact, burning, or water ingress. If present, isolate and call a professional.
  • 4. App status: If the app still shows the charger offline after restoring power, wait a few minutes for it to reconnect.
  • 5. Internal fuse (technician only): If external power is present but the charger remains dead, a technician can open the unit to check and replace any internal low-voltage fuses and test the power supply module.
