Possible Causes
Tripped upstream breaker or RCD, Blown internal fuse, Loose supply wiring in input terminal block, Failed internal low‑voltage power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before opening the charger, turn off the main breaker and verify absence of voltage. Only qualified persons should work on live circuits.
- Check upstream protection: Inspect the dedicated breaker and any RCD/GFCI in your panel feeding the Polestar charger. Reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, do not force it on – call an electrician.
- Verify supply voltage: Have an electrician confirm that correct voltage is present at the charger’s supply terminals.
- Inspect internal fuse: With power off, open the charger and locate any internal fuses on the low‑voltage power supply. Replace only with identical Polestar‑specified fuses.
- Check input terminals: Ensure all line, neutral, and earth conductors are firmly secured in the input terminal block.
- Power supply replacement: If supply is present but the charger remains dead, the internal low‑voltage power supply or main control board is likely failed and should be replaced by a service technician.
