Possible Causes

Aging LCD backlight, Failed LED driver on display board, Loose display ribbon cable, Water ingress into front panel

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front cover to access the display.

  • 1. Check viewing angle and brightness settings: Some Primecom models allow brightness adjustment; ensure it is not set to minimum.
  • 2. Inspect front panel for cracks: Damage can allow moisture in, affecting the display. If cracked, replace the front panel and display module.
  • 3. Reseat display cable: With power off, gently reseat the ribbon cable between the main board and the display.
  • 4. Replace display module: If the backlight or segments remain faulty, replace the LCD display module with a compatible Primecom part.
