Possible Causes
Failed temperature sensor on control board, Blocked ventilation around charger, Ambient temperature above design limit, Damaged components from surge causing excess heat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Overheating can lead to fire. If you smell burning or see smoke, disconnect power immediately and do not reuse the charger.
- 1. Improve ventilation: Ensure there is adequate clearance around the Primecom charger (typically at least several inches on all sides). Remove any objects blocking airflow or covering vents.
- 2. Check ambient temperature: If installed in a hot garage or in direct sun, consider shading or relocating the unit to a cooler area within the manufacturer's specified temperature range.
- 3. Allow cooldown: Turn off power for 30–60 minutes to let internal components cool. Then restore power and test again.
- 4. Inspect for dust buildup: With power off, gently blow out dust from vents using dry compressed air. Do not insert tools or liquids.
- 5. Persistent E07: If the error appears immediately after power-up in a cool environment, the internal temperature sensor or control board is likely faulty and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
