Safety first: Do not work on live circuits. Turn off the EVlink charger at the supply breaker.

• Check vehicle compatibility: Confirm your vehicle supports Mode 3 AC charging and is compatible with Schneider EVlink home chargers. Some imported vehicles may require firmware updates.
• Power cycle the charger: Turn off the breaker for 2 minutes, then restore power. This resets the EVlink controller and may clear transient communication faults.
• Verify configuration: If your EVlink model has DIP switches or a configuration interface (web or app), confirm the maximum current and grid settings match your installation (single-phase vs three-phase, 16 A vs 32 A).
• Test with another EV: If possible, connect a different EV. If E03 only occurs with one vehicle, the issue may be on the vehicle side.
• Firmware update: Consult Schneider Electric documentation or support to check if a firmware update is available for your EVlink model to improve vehicle compatibility.
• Technician involvement: If E03 persists with multiple vehicles and correct configuration, a technician should test the CP PWM waveform and replace the EVlink control board if the signal is distorted.
