Safety first: Turn off the supply breaker and verify isolation. Do not touch internal power components when energized.

• Listen for contactor operation: When starting a charge (before isolating), note whether you hear a single solid click or rapid chattering. Continuous chattering suggests control or coil issues.
• Inspect contactor connections: With power OFF and cover removed, check that all power and control terminals on the Schneider EVlink contactor are tight. Look for burn marks or melted plastic.
• Check for mechanical obstruction: Ensure no foreign objects or deformed plastic parts are obstructing the contactor mechanism.
• Reset the charger: Reassemble, restore power, and attempt a charge. If E06 persists, the contactor coil or driver circuit may be defective.
• Professional replacement: A qualified technician should test the contactor coil resistance and control voltage. Replace the Schneider EVlink contactor assembly or control board as required.
