Possible Causes
Incorrect wiring (phase/neutral reversed or missing), Undervoltage or overvoltage on supply line, Loose supply terminals in EVlink, Faulty Schneider EVlink power supply module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only a qualified electrician should measure live voltages. Turn off power before tightening any terminals.
- Verify supply configuration: Confirm that the EVlink charger is wired according to the installation manual (single-phase or three-phase, correct neutral connection).
- Check terminal tightness: With power OFF, open the terminal compartment and ensure L, N, and PE conductors are firmly secured and correctly sized.
- Measure voltage: An electrician should measure line-to-neutral and line-to-line voltages to ensure they are within the EVlink specified range (typically 230 V ±10% single-phase or 400 V ±10% three-phase).
- Inspect for supply issues: If voltage is unstable, contact your utility provider or have an electrician investigate upstream wiring.
- Internal power supply: If supply is correct but E08 persists, the internal low-voltage power supply module on the Schneider EVlink control board may be defective and require replacement.
