Possible Causes
Missing or loose PE conductor, Corroded earth connection in distribution board, Faulty PE sensing circuit in EVlink, Use of adapter that breaks earth continuity
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not operate the charger without a proper earth connection. Turn off power at the breaker.
- Inspect PE connection: With power OFF, open the EVlink terminal area and verify that the green/yellow PE conductor is securely connected to the earth terminal.
- Check upstream earth: Have an electrician verify that the building's earth system is intact and that the earth bar in the distribution board is properly bonded.
- Avoid unsafe adapters: Do not use any extension cords or adapters that may interrupt the earth connection between the charger and the supply.
- Test earth impedance: A qualified electrician should perform an earth loop impedance test to ensure values are within Schneider Electric and local code requirements.
- Internal fault: If earth is confirmed good but E10 persists, the EVlink's PE sensing circuit or control board may be defective and require replacement by a technician.
