Possible Causes
Disconnected RFID reader cable, Failed Schneider EVlink RFID module, Damaged reader surface, Disabled RFID function in configuration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front cover.
- Check configuration: Ensure RFID access control is enabled in the EVlink settings; otherwise, the reader may ignore cards.
- Inspect reader cable: With power OFF, verify that the RFID reader's cable is securely plugged into the control board.
- Clean reader surface: Wipe the reader area with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt or residue.
- Test with known-good card: Use a card that is confirmed to work on another EVlink unit, if available.
- Module replacement: If still unresponsive, the RFID reader module should be replaced by a Schneider Electric–qualified technician.
