Possible Causes
Worn or damaged keypad, Moisture ingress into front panel, Loose ribbon cable to control board, Control board input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure your hands are dry and the area around the charger is dry before using the controls.
- Clean panel: Wipe the front panel with a dry, soft cloth to remove dirt or residue. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Power cycle: Turn the breaker OFF for 2 minutes, then ON to reset the interface.
- Check via app (if available): If you can control the charger via the app but not the panel, the front panel assembly is likely at fault.
- Inspect ribbon cable (qualified only): With power OFF, open the unit and reseat the ribbon cable between the front panel and control board.
- If unresponsive: Replace the front panel/keypad assembly. If that fails, the control board input circuitry may need replacement.
