Possible Causes

Faulty RFID reader module, Corrupted user access list, Damaged front panel keypad, Control board I/O failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the charger is not actively charging before performing resets.

  • Check access mode: Confirm the charger is not locked to a schedule or restricted user list in the app or settings.
  • Test with multiple RFID cards/fobs: If none are recognized, the RFID reader may be faulty.
  • Clean front panel: Wipe the RFID area and keypad with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use solvents.
  • Factory reset: Reset the charger to factory defaults and reconfigure access control.
  • If E17 remains: The RFID reader or front panel assembly may need replacement. If that does not resolve it, the control board I/O may be defective and require service.
