How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Charging may still work locally even without app connectivity.
- Step 1 – Check internet: Verify your home internet and Wi‑Fi are working with another device near the charger.
- Step 2 – Move router or add extender: Improve Wi‑Fi coverage near the Shell Recharge unit or use Ethernet if supported.
- Step 3 – Re-pair in app: In the Shell Recharge app, follow the steps to reconnect the charger to your Wi‑Fi network, entering the correct credentials.
- Step 4 – Power cycle: Restart both the router and the charger.
- Step 5 – If still offline: The Wi‑Fi module or antenna may be defective and require replacement.
