Possible Causes
Corrupted configuration in flash memory, Interrupted firmware update, Failing EEPROM/flash chip on control PCB, Power loss during initial setup
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Data integrity issue: This usually requires software-level repair or board replacement.
- Step 1 – Reboot: Turn the charger off at the breaker for 60 seconds, then back on. Check if E10 clears.
- Step 2 – Re-run setup: Open the Shell Recharge app and, if prompted, go through the installation/setup wizard again to reapply configuration.
- Step 3 – Firmware recovery: If the app offers a ‘repair’ or ‘reinstall firmware’ option, follow the instructions carefully. Ensure stable Wi‑Fi or Ethernet during the process.
- Step 4 – Avoid power interruptions: Do not switch off the breaker while firmware or configuration updates are in progress.
- Step 5 – If E10 remains: The flash memory or control PCB is likely defective. Arrange for replacement through Shell Recharge support.
