How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Only relevant if your Shell Recharge charger uses Ethernet.
- Step 1 – Inspect cable: Check the Ethernet cable for cuts, kinks, or crushed sections. Replace with a known-good cable.
- Step 2 – Check router/switch port: Plug the cable into a different port on your router or switch and verify link lights.
- Step 3 – Verify link LEDs: If your charger has link/activity LEDs near the Ethernet port, confirm they light when connected.
- Step 4 – Power cycle: Restart both the router and the charger.
- Step 5 – If E13 persists with known-good cable and router: The Ethernet interface on the charger’s communication board or main PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
