Possible Causes
Loss of internet connectivity for extended period, Failed internal real-time clock battery, Firmware bug in time sync, Corrupted time settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This mainly affects scheduled charging and billing accuracy; basic charging may still work.
- Step 1 – Restore internet: Ensure the charger has a working internet connection via Wi‑Fi or Ethernet.
- Step 2 – Reboot: Power cycle the charger to force a new time synchronization attempt.
- Step 3 – Check router time: Make sure your router or local NTP source has the correct time.
- Step 4 – Disable schedules temporarily: Turn off scheduled charging in the app and test immediate charging.
- Step 5 – If E20 persists with good connectivity: The internal RTC or its backup battery on the control PCB may be failing and require board replacement.
