• Check wiring to auxiliary contacts: Locate the auxiliary (feedback) contacts on the main contactor and ensure their wires are secure and match the wiring diagram.
• Inspect for mechanical damage: If the contactor shows signs of overheating or mechanical failure, replace it with the Sun Country Highway-specified part.
• Continuity test (advanced): A technician can test the auxiliary contacts with a multimeter to ensure they change state when the contactor coil is energized. If they do not, the contactor must be replaced.
• Control board diagnosis: If the auxiliary contacts function correctly but E09 persists, the feedback input on the control board may be defective and require board replacement.
