Possible Causes

Dynamic load management sensor misreading, Incorrect current transformer (CT) installation, Misconfigured maximum current in software, Faulty CT or load controller module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: CTs and load controllers are connected to live conductors; only qualified personnel should adjust them.

  • Review settings: In the app or web interface, verify the main service size and maximum EV charging current are correctly configured.
  • Inspect CT orientation: Ensure current transformers are installed on the correct conductors and oriented according to arrows or markings.
  • Check CT wiring: With power OFF, verify CT leads are firmly connected to the load management input on the charger or external controller.
  • Bypass test (if safe and allowed): Temporarily disable dynamic load management in software to see if charging proceeds normally at a fixed current (do not exceed breaker rating).

If E15 only occurs with load management enabled and wiring is correct, the CTs or load controller module may be defective.
