How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before removing the front cover or RFID module.
- 1. Test multiple cards: Try more than one known-good RFID card or tag. If none are recognized, the issue is likely with the reader.
- 2. Check for physical damage: Inspect the front panel area where cards are presented. Look for cracks or impact damage that could have damaged the antenna.
- 3. Verify configuration: In the Vestel configuration interface, ensure RFID authorization is enabled and that the reader is not disabled by software.
- 4. Inspect wiring: With power off, remove the front cover and locate the RFID reader PCB. Check that its connector to the main control board is secure and that the cable is not pinched.
- 5. Replace RFID module: If wiring and configuration are correct but E11 persists, replace the RFID reader module/antenna assembly with a Vestel-approved spare.
- 6. Alternative authorization: If available, enable app-based or plug-and-charge authorization temporarily until the RFID reader is replaced.
