Charger displays E14; dynamic load management with external meter or CTs does not operate and charging current is limited or disabled.

Safety first: CTs and meters are connected to live circuits. Only qualified electricians should work on them. Isolate circuits where possible.

• 1. Check CT orientation: Ensure external current transformers are installed with the correct orientation (arrow pointing towards the load or supply as specified) and on the correct conductors.
• 2. Inspect CT wiring: Verify that CT secondary wires are firmly connected to the Vestel charger’s CT input terminals and that polarity (+/−) is correct.
• 3. Verify meter communication: For Modbus meters, check RS485 A/B wiring, termination resistors, and that the meter address and baud rate match the charger’s configuration.
• 4. Test meter output: Use a Modbus test tool or the meter’s display to confirm it is measuring correctly and responding to queries.
• 5. Disable load management temporarily: In the charger configuration, disable dynamic load management to allow basic charging. If E14 clears, the issue is isolated to the external metering system.
• 6. Replace faulty components: Replace defective CTs, repair wiring, or replace the external meter. If the Vestel CT/RS485 interface is damaged, replace the main control board or dedicated interface board.
