Possible Causes
Failed cooling fan motor, Blocked fan blades due to debris, Disconnected fan power connector, Faulty fan tachometer feedback circuit on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before touching the fan or internal components.
- 1. Visual inspection: Remove the cover and locate the cooling fan. Check for dust buildup, foreign objects, or damaged blades.
- 2. Spin test: With power off, gently spin the fan by hand. It should rotate freely. If stiff or seized, replace the fan.
- 3. Check connections: Ensure the fan’s power and tachometer connectors are firmly seated on the main or power board.
- 4. Voltage test: With power on and a charge session initiated, measure the voltage at the fan connector. If correct voltage is present but the fan does not run, replace the fan.
- 5. Feedback circuit: If the fan runs but E19 persists, the tachometer feedback circuit on the main board may be faulty. Replace the main control or power board as specified by Vestel.
