• 1. Clean surface: Gently clean the RFID area with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid solvents that can further damage plastic.
• 2. Test read distance: Present cards slowly and directly over the reader area. If read range is significantly reduced, the window or antenna may be compromised.
• 3. Inspect from inside: Remove the front cover and check the RFID antenna and PCB for cracks or displacement.
• 4. Replace front panel or reader: If the window is heavily scratched or cracked, replace the front panel. If the antenna is damaged, replace the RFID reader module.
