Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Even low‑voltage harnesses are inside a high‑voltage enclosure. Only qualified technicians should open the unit.
- Eliminate interference: If heavy machinery, welders, or large motors are on the same supply, avoid operating them while charging and test again.
- Power cycle: Turn off the VW wallbox breaker for 2–3 minutes, then restore power. Wait for full boot before testing.
- Check for moisture: Inspect the outside of the charger for signs of condensation, water streaks, or a compromised top seal. If water ingress is suspected, keep power off and call a technician.
If E010 remains, a technician should inspect internal harnesses, reseat connectors, and test the communication bus between the control and power boards. Replacement of the main PCB or power module may be required.
