Possible Causes

Active time‑of‑use schedule configured in Volvo charger, Misconfigured departure time or off‑peak window, Communication mismatch between vehicle and charger schedules

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal access is needed for this issue.

  • Check charger schedule: Open the Volvo app and review the charger’s schedule or timer settings. Disable scheduling or adjust the allowed charging window.
  • Check vehicle schedule: Ensure the vehicle is not also restricting charging to certain times. Disable vehicle‑side scheduling temporarily.
  • Force immediate charge: Use the app or front button (if available) to override the schedule and start an immediate charging session.

If E20 persists after disabling all schedules, perform a factory reset of the charger configuration (per manual) and re‑set basic parameters.
